Meet Dr. Laurence Palmer
Preston, Idaho, is where Dr. Laurence Palmer was born and raised. From 1979 to 1981, he resided, studied, and worked at the Brussels Mission in Belgium. Laurence has a passion for the French language and improved his proficiency while working as a teacher at Brigham Young University in Provo, where he studied French and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Laurence applied to many dental schools after graduating from BYU and was accepted to many of them. He chose to attend Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, for dental school. Laurence opened his dental office in Ogden, Utah, after graduating from dental school in 1989.
Dr. Palmer and his family frequently visit Mali in West Africa to provide humanitarian aid to those lacking access to dental care. He participates in the “Adopt a Patient” program run by the Junior League of Ogden and volunteers at the Midtown Children’s Dental Clinic in Ogden. He provides free dental care to those in need through the “Lifeline Network.” Since 2007, he has been a member of the Academy of LDS Dentists’ executive committee, including two years as the organization’s president.

Best dentist office in Northern Utah!! They care so much that Dr. Palmer will call you PERSONALLY after a procedure to make sure you're okay. I've never had any complications or complaints about the work done (fillings, crowns, and root canals). I had an appointment the day after I had to put my dog down. The dental assistant casually asked how I was and, surprisingly, I was holding it together pretty well when I said I was okay but had to put my dog down yesterday. She looked at me and asked if she could hug me. These people truly care about their patients and I will never ever go any where else!!
